The Platinum Business Credit Card, issued by American Express®, is an ideal card for business owners with good credit who prefer to manage all business-related expenses on one credit card and plan to carry a revolving balance. The card has a reasonable interest rate for those who qualify, providing a low cost option for paying business expenses over time. The card also offers a 0% introductory rate for twelve months on purchases and a fixed 4.99% introductory rate for the life of the loan on balance transfers made during the application process or posted to the account within 45 days. Those who are familiar with American Express® cards know that a variety of services and benefits are available to cardholders that include various purchase security features, up to $100,000 in travel accident insurance, and special discounts at participating merchants including AT&T®, FedEx®, 1-800-FLOWERS.COM®, and Hertz®. However, it is important to review the disclosures for participating merchant discounts, as restrictions and limitations do apply in order to take advantage of the discounts. Cardholders are also granted access to the Membership Reward Express® program for no additional annual fee. The program offers cardholders the opportunity to redeem accumulated points for various services and benefits. For those who are not familiar with the Membership Reward Options program, it is one of the most flexible credit card reward programs available as it has no yearly limit and no expiration applied to earned points.
